My wife and I in the possession of two dogs that we had before we met and brought her into the marriage. Your dog was a Pit Bull/Labrador cross called Zack and he hated me. When our daughter was born, I said to the woman: "If he so much as nip on the baby that he is gone."
We have our daughter home in a car seat, and both dogs sniffed and licked their tails wagging. I had to pull away from her, Zack because he would not stop to lick her. Zack was immediately to my daughter, protectors, and if you were on a blanket on the floor, he always had one foot on the ceiling.
